Pastor Joe and his wife Terri have been married since 1980. As high school sweethearts, after graduation they found themselves expecting their 1st child. Their shared Catholic upbringing found them valuing marriage, life in the womb and each other in ways that quickly matured both. Married at 19, they also quickly experienced parenthood - ultimately having 4-children in 4-years. During this time, with the gentle witness of their brother-in-law, each gave their lives to Christ and were born again. Raising their daughter and three boys kept them busy as did serving at their church. Pastor Joe was content in his career path of manufacturing management when a challenge came from the pastoral leadership of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale (CCFTL) of a calling as a minister. Answering that call in 1991, Pastor Joe came on staff at CCFTL serving as Associate Pastor overseeing the Marriage & Family Ministries of a growing church. In June 2000, with joy and the full support of the leadership and congregation of CCFTL, Pastor Joe, Terri and their family moved to Cedar City to establish Calvary Chapel Cedar City.
