In June of 2000, the Lord confirmed a work when Pastor Joe Carroll, his wife Terri and their four children moved from South Florida to establish a Calvary Chapel in Cedar City.  The first years were difficult and challenging yet filled with amazing opportunities to grow in the knowledge of Christ and the power of His Spirit.  

Perceived difficulties evaporated and were replaced by a solid core group that the Lord continues to add to daily.  Ours is a unique mission field that is daunting for some, but for many others, we wouldn’t have it any other way. 

With a strong emphasis on Worship – music that is directed to God rather than man – our Bible studies focus on teaching the Word of God (the Bible) verse-by-verse.  Some have said that the prevalent culture of Southern Utah offers too much opposition to cultivate growth in a Christian, Bible teaching church.  We find this not to be true and invite you to join us in one of our numerous Bible Studies.
